Hey there, human! My name is Pretzel, and I'm here to steal your heart with my hilarious and adorable antics. I'm a young, male pup with plenty of energy and curiosity. At 5 1/2 months old and 21.8 lbs, I'm just the right size to squeeze into your heart and your couch. Even though I don't know much about life yet, I can already tell that I'm a funny guy who loves making my humans laugh. I'm also a friendly fellow and I love meeting new people. Our cat adoption fee is $75 and our dog adoption fee is $85. This covers one set of basic vaccines including rabies, vet exam, spay/neuter, fecal and general dewormer at Lincoln Vet.

More about this shelter

We are the Animal Control Facility for the City of Talladega. We provide animal control services for the entire county of Talladega excluding the city limits of Lincoln, Sylacauga, and Childersburg. We work with lots of rescues all over the US and Canada. We do some local adoptions but don't have many people come in locally looking to adopt. A lot of our pets are transferred to our rescue partners. We do accept donations of cleaning supplies, dry cat/kitten, dry dog/puppy food, cat litter, and chew toys. We are also always looking for short term foster homes for our pets going to rescues. Usually it's only for a 2-4 week period before the pet leaves for his/her rescue.
