Meet Sweetheart!
Sweetheart came to us as a stray in July 2024 and is ready to find a home to call her own!
Sweetheart is, well, a sweetheart! There is not a cat at the moment who matches their name better than this loving girl. Sweetheart is a cuddle extraordinaire and is happy to have company of any age if it means she is getting cuddles and love. Sweetheart goes completely limp when she is picked up and turns into a ragdoll of kitty-love!
If you are looking for a snuggly kitty to add to your family then sweetheart is definitely the girl for you!
Sweetheart is a wonderful, cuddly companion but would thrive best in a home without other cats!
Sweetheart has a heart big enough for people of all ages and would love to have a family of any age!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.

Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
