Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our little bean of a girlie, Maddie! She's a 2 year old Miniature Schnauzer Mix that would love a patient and quiet family to come home with. Maddie and a few other smaller dogs were found wandering around as scared strays and were brought to the Humane Society where they can find there furrever homes. Maddie's a sweet girl, but is still very timid with new people. We believe as of right now, she should not go home with any young children. She will approach you, take treats, and will crawl in your lap once she's comfortable with you. Maddie loves to snuggle up in her very own dog bed, nuzzle her way into soft blankets, and munch on yummy soft treats. As we've gotten to know Maddie and tested her with other small dogs that weren't previous housemates, we've learned she might do better as the only animal in the home. She's slowly learning learning to go potty outside and cautiously working on her leash training. If you've got a huge heart with a lot of patience, why not consider stopping by and meeting Maddie? She's spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped. She'll be waiting for you at the Benbrook Waggin' Tails Adoption Center, open daily from 12-6 p.m. If you have any questions about Maddie or about the adoption process, call us at 817-249-3647.
