Row Boat arrived at FVHA as a stray and is now looking for a forever home to spend her golden years!

If you're looking for a laid-back, affectionate feline friend, Row Boat is the one for you. She enjoys napping, cheek rubs, and hanging out with her favorite humans.

Since Row Boat arrived as a stray, we are unsure of her background with other cats, dogs, or kids. Being a senior kitty, she would benefit from a calm household where she can relax in a minimally stressful environment.

While at FVHA, Row Boat had extensive dental care and many tooth extractions. This is common for senior cats and her extraction sites will heal over time. Row Boat will benefit from a home willing to give her frequent veterinary care as she continues to age.

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

If you are interested in adopting and meeting one of our adoptable animals one-on-one, we will have you fill out our adoption questionnaire.

2.
Meet the Pet

After completing the adoption questionnaire, you will be paired with one of our Adoption Counselors to help you find the right match.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a match is made, we will finalize the adoption paperwork and have you sign an adoption contract.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once the contract is signed you may take your new pet home, typically same day!

The Fox Valley Humane Association believes in caring for pets and their people. We have an open adoption process, and our goal is to get to know potential adopters on a personal level and best match them with a new companion. We encourage you to stop by during our open hours to meet our adoptable animals.

The Fox Valley Humane Association is open to the public during the following hours. You do not need an appointment to view our adoptable animals, we welcome visitors anytime during our viewing hours. In order to best serve you, please plan on arriving at least 30 minutes prior to closing to meet with an Adoption Counselor and ensure adequate time to visit with our adoptable animals.
