My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful mother-daughter duo arrived at HSOV on April 9, 2024 and were both very pregnant that day. Momma June gave birth to 5 kittens on April 10th. Daughter Priscilla gave birth to 5 kittens on April 13th (sadly one of her kittens was stillborn).

Fortunately for June & Priscilla, HSOV volunteer/foster mother Wendy Jo Irvin gave this blended family of two mothers and their nine kittens a wonderful temporary safe haven where they were raised in a loving home environment.

June & Priscilla are dilute tortoiseshell/bobtail kitties with super sweet personalities. June is 5-years old and Priscilla is 2-years old. They are both rather petite girls.

June & Priscilla were given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on April 10, 2024. They were given booster vaccines on May 4, 2024 and were also combo tested that day (and were negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm).

Priscilla & June were both spayed on July 23, 2024 and were also given rabies vaccines. Priscilla weighed 7.4 lbs that day while June weighed 7.7 lbs.

Priscilla and June were returned to HSOV on August 16th so that they would be more visible/available to meet potential adopters. They are currently sharing a large cat tower in the lobby of our shelter. June & Priscilla are ready to find fabulous homes of their very own either separately or together.

Their nine kittens are still in foster care and will soon be introduced with their ‘big boy/big girl’ photos. Seven of the kittens have now been spayed/neutered, and the remaining two will be spayed in another week or so. Thanks to their foster mother for taking the most wonderful care of these delightful moms and their kittens. They have definitely been showered with love and attention and will arrive 'pre-spoiled' in their new homes (smile).

Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
