This happy-go-lucky, full of life little guy is Rico and we believe he is a Cairn Terrier mix 22 pounds about 5 years old. Rico had a rough start when he came into our Rescue. It was determined he needed both of his knees replaced for him to be pain free. His recovery went very well. As a result of a successful surgery, he is now able to play Fetch, his favorite activity. Rico takes direction well and wants to please his humans. Rico will do best either being the only dog or one other dog 30 pounds or more. He is also respectful of cats. Would do best in an all-adult household or with children 10 yrs or older. He is good on car rides and comes with great house manners as well as being a first class cuddlier. His ideal home would have a house set back from the road with a large fenced yard where he can play with other dogs and be his true self. He has proven to be one of those rare dogs that does not do well on leash walks.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations before being placed in their forever homes.
