DOG DAY OUT PARTICIPANTS INFORMATION: Crowley is a very sweet boy! He does prefer more of a laid back kind of dog day out. So if you are looking to have a picnic at the park and bird watch, stay at home and play video games or watch some TV, maybe stop by and get some special treats on the way back to the shelter... he is your man! He would prefer shorter walks and more chill-out time.
My adoption fee has been fully sponsored. Adopt me and pay $0.00!!!
Hello! My name is Crowley! I came into the shelter with `happy tail`, and I needed some medical treatment. I was also a bit underweight. I`m eating well and on the path to a good weight! I have also responded well to treatment for my medical issues and I feel like a brand new dog! I am a very happy and food motivated guy. I can get a bit rambunctious during play so it is recommended that I not be with small children as I could accidentally knock them down and overwhelm them. I am very stressed at the shelter, but I am very different once I am away from my shelter kennel. So I`m looking forward to getting into a loving home. Thanks for considering adopting me!
Crowley`s adventure buddies say such nice things about him:
`He`s an absolute cuddler, really wanted pets and to snuggle/be a lapdog. Did not pull on the leash, walked near or next to me. He was a little cautious at times on walks (probably normal for any dog in an unfamiliar area with so many new things happening), but he consistently started brightening up and wagging his tail enthusiastically when he saw other people. He was great in the car - fell asleep at times even when the ride was short. Not a barker, very gentle dog. He has a playful side too (might enjoy tug of war), listens to some commands very well.`
`Crowley is a sweet boy with a lot of potential. Like most dogs, he just needs some training and some patience. We went for a drive, to a brewery that allows dogs indoors, and to Phydeaux to get him something to chew on besides my rubbery watch band. :) He knows sit, and he`s working on learning a few other basic commands. After some initial excitement upon getting in the car (wanting to sit in my lap), he calmed down. He also wanted to be the first one out of the car, but I am happy to work with him on that. I wo
