Cora came to the Ferndale Cat Shelter from Madison Heights Animal Control and made friends with a fellow MHAC Kitten, Charlie. Cora & Charlie are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together.

Cora is a little shy at times but loves to play and hang out with Charlie and her foster's kitties. She loves to hang out where the action is but isn't quite sure about all the attention from humans. She is making huge progress though and with a little patience from the right adopter will continue to thrive.

Submit Application

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

2.
Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
