Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aurora was surrendered to us August 10,2024. She has a bit of arthritis in her back end and will need a lower lipped box that she can easily get into. Aurora is receiving a daily supplement that helps with her arthritis and she gobbles it up in her wet food.
Aurora has a calm demeaner and loves cuddles, scratches and pets. She is not too fond of being picked up as she is a little over weight so they may contribute to this. Aurora lived with and is very good with children and with a respectful dog. She loves to sleep on her scratching post/climbing tree during the day.

If you are interested in an animal you’ve seen on our website, you can call 519-833-2287 or send an email to learn more about them. You can also stop by the shelter to meet the animal in person. It may take a few visits to find the animal that is a perfect match for you.

You can stop by the shelter Monday through Sunday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.

You may wish to call the shelter before visiting to confirm the location and availability of the animal you would like to meet. The UCHS staff can let you know if the animal is currently at the shelter or at one of our remote locations, such as a foster home, local pet supply store or our Thrift Shop.
