MEET ALFREDO! Would like to have a social cat friend at home! Watch His Video!
This shy guy is not your average adolescent kitten. Alfredo is still figuring out his relationship with people, and it could take him time to adjust to a new home. He has lived and is currently housed with other cats so a friendly, outgoing cat could really help him to adjust more quickly, so his ideal match would be a home with another social cat - male or female! Lately Alfredo enjoys pets with a back scratcher, and he`s making progress every day! With some recently acquired confidence, Alfredo has begun chirping at people he knows and playfully batting around toys during interactive play. If you have a quiet, adult-only home without much foot traffic and are willing to be patient with this beautiful boy, please ask about meeting Alfredo!
Alfredo is currently up to date on vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped, and examined by our vet team.

Situated 10 miles southwest of Boston on the beautiful grounds of the former summer sanctuary for the city’s working horses, ARL’s newly remodeled shelter in Dedham, Massachusetts is just a glimpse into ARL’s bold future. The new modern shelter design allows us to provide even more animals with high-quality direct animal care that meets best-practice standards in animal welfare.
The 27-acre property serves as ARL’s main livestock center and is home to Pine Ridge Pet Cemetery, the oldest continuously operated pet cemetery by a humane society in the United States.
