My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kerrville, a curious and independent feline who loves exploring her surroundings. She enjoys her alone time and often hides under furniture, keeping an eye on everything from her cozy little hideouts. But don’t be fooled by her shy nature—Kerrville is full of playful energy and loves engaging with toys and her favorite humans. Her gentle, curious personality shines through when she’s window watching or people watching, taking in the world with wide, inquisitive eyes.

Kerrville has a soft spot for treats and will quickly warm up to you when there’s something yummy in store! After some fun playtime, she loves to settle down for a nap in a quiet corner. When she’s ready for affection, she’ll come to you for cuddles, purring contentedly in your lap. Whether it’s watching the world go by from a sunny window or curling up with her favorite human, Kerrville brings a perfect balance of independence and affection to any home.

Reason for Foster: Ringworm

Foster Time Frame: 2+ Weeks

Foster Care Plan: Kerrville is being treated for ringworm which is a fungal skin infection. This can be contagious, so it is recommended that they be kept in a room away from other pets. Be sure to wash your hands and change clothing after interacting with them. A room without upholstered furniture or carpet is ideal.
This kiddo will need regular lime sulfur dips and will go home with an antifungal medication. We will provide a full medical consultation at pickup to ensure you are prepared to take great care of this sweet girl.

Foster to Adopt: Kerrville is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.
