My name is Xena Girl!

Xena girl is a 9 1/2 year-old mixed breed that my husband and I adopted 8 1/2 years ago from a rescue. She has been the most amazing addition to our family, but unfortunately she is too stressed around our toddler.
Xena girl does suffer from anxiety which she has been medicated for most of her life. While she loves women, she is very timid around men. It took her about three weeks to feel comfortable around my husband, and now she adores him! We are always mindful of male guests in our home.
Xena girl also has hip dysplasia which she’s also on medication for and her pain seems to be pretty well managed.
The reason we are having to rehome her, is due to her unpredictability around our toddler.
We feel as though she would benefit going to a home that is a lot less stressful for her.
She is a wonderful loving dog and with the right home, she would make an amazing addition. If you were interested in her, I can give you more information.
