My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Sonja. I am a rare little gem with the sweetest demeanor and a knack for sneaking into lives and leaving them brighter. I actually snuck into a foster home with a right place, right time plan and believe it will find me the perfect family.

I am a gentle lovebug. I like to talk to you and I will use my "nice paws" to pull your hand to me when I want attention. I am very smart and very curious. Please make time for belly rubs. Belly rubs are my favorite thing! I will go on car rides with you if you put me in your purse and we can go exploring, but when we're done can I please lay next to you in bed or in your lap to get some rest?

If you need to go exploring without me, please leave me with some toys. I really like things I can bat and chase. Poms will do the trick. I'm easy to amuse. I love to hunt and play when I'm left on my own, and if I get bored I will find a quiet place to nap until you call me out. I really like the basket of washcloths under the bathroom sink where I'm staying.

I have some human foster brothers that I really like. I love when they pet me and play with me in the gentle way I love. I'm even gentle with my toys. I know my claws are meant to keep me from falling off of things and not for my human brothers or their things.

I won't wake you up early unless you're alarm clock goes off. Then I know you need a little help getting up and I will talk to you until you get up. When you do get ready to leave I won't try to go out the door, and will take care of the house until you get back. I won't mess with your curtains or blinds, and I will be sure to mind my manners.

I am litter box trained and have never had an accident in my foster home. One time, my foster mom moved my box to clean it and I yelled at her until she brought it back because I am such a good girl. I don't mind wearing a harness and am learning how to walk on one.

I am looking for furever here and dream about that day you finally find me and bring me home to stay. I worked so hard to be here, in pure orange kitty fashion, and cannot wait to fall in love with you so I can love you just the same!
Fostering and transporting to places where there is a need for adoptable animals, saves lives, its that simple.

Miami Animal Alliance's goal is to be the premium go to place to find your new family member! We work carefully with our Veterinarians and foster families to prepare our pets to be a healthy and happy new family member!

Our adoption donations help cover our medical cost, food and transport costs.

Please do not use autofill on adoption application. Inputted info deletes when it submited and then we can't reach you.
