FOR ADOPTION: JOE is unique one year old male looking for his forever family. With his curly coat and whiskers we believe this cool dude is a Devon Rex mix. This handsome fella came into our care as a young kitten with his large family group. Unfortunately a few of his siblings and half siblings became quite sick with a non-contagious genetic disease and we lost them. After consulting with experts in this disease from all over Canada we made a plan for how to handle the siblings who may or may not have carried the same genetic markers. We’ve now reached the point where we can confidently say that these remaining siblings are healthy and able to head into their forever homes. We will happily further discuss this genetic disease that effected some of the siblings with any successful applicants. Joe is the perfect mix of snuggles and play. He is quite comfortable with people of all ages and will happily give cuddles at anytime but if his people are busy he is right back into play mode. Joe has been great with all of his siblings and should be able to very happily live with other friendly felines. Joe briefly lived in foster care with a calm and respectful dog and he would be able to share his home with a dog of similar nature. Joe would love to find a home with lots of indoor space to explore, a fun catio or people that will actively engage him in play. He is not a good candidate for an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Joe is neutered, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control.
