My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Check out the Hound puppies we have available! 🐾

These beautiful 16-week-old puppies are looking to become a part of a family! 🏡

To be honest, we don't know what kind of hound they are mixed with, but we did see mom who was a tan and black hound mix of about 40 lbs. We think they might be mixed with Rottweiler due to the coloring, but again we are just guessing based on looks. 🤔 The reality is they are a Highland Muttley Mix, and it's anyone's guess as to their real breeds. 🐶

They are currently weighing from 17 to 27 lbs, so they are likely to be 40-60 lbs full grown, but don't quote me on that. 📏

We have 4 girls, 2 boys. 👧👧👧👧👦👦 Girls are Hallieberry Hound, Queenie, Pippy Long Stocking, Ophelia. 🎀 Boys are Auggie Doggie and Copper. 🎩

Their adoption fee is $225 each, which includes vaccines, dewormer, flea & tick treatment, and they will be microchipped and scheduled for spay or neuter upon adoption. 💉

You can apply online for them on our website at highlandhumanesociety.org 🖥️ OR stop in to the shelter from 12-5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. 🕒

Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption. ⏰

Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.
