My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Queenie! 🐾

This lovely 4-month-old female puppy weighs 30 lbs and is believed to be a mix of hound and possibly Rottweiler due to her beautiful coloring! 🌈 Her mom was a 40 lb hound mix, but dad is a mystery 🕵️‍♂️.

Queenie is confident and knows how to go for what she wants! 💪 Whether it’s snuggling or playing around the house, she’s always ready for some fun! 🥰🏡

She enjoys the company of children, other dogs, and loves meeting new people! 👶🐶❤️ We’re not sure how she feels about cats yet, though.

We believe Queenie will likely grow to be around 45-50 lbs once fully grown. If you’re ready to welcome this sweet girl into your family, reach out today! ✨

Queenie's adoption fee is sponsored, this means there is no adoption fee. However, you do have to have an approved application before being able to adopt or take her for foster to adopt. Her adoption includes vaccines, dewormer, flea & tick treatment, and they will be microchipped and scheduled for spay or neuter upon adoption. 💉

You can apply online for them on our website at highlandhumanesociety.org 🖥️ OR stop in to the shelter from 12-5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. 🕒

Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption. ⏰

Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.
