My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bowie is a darling Poodle/Maltese mix who's about 2 years old and 18 pounds.  He was turned in by his owners who could no longer keep him.  This poor guy was so scared and confused.  Bowie has come out of his shell and is a super smart, exuberant, happy, energetic dog.  He loves to play fetch, chew on his bones and gives lots of gentle doggie kisses.  He needs some doggie manners in not jumping up on people and walking more calmly on a leash, although the more exercise he gets the better he is. He certainly has his chill moments where he's very cuddly.  He's super smart and would be great in agility training.  Bowie is good with other dogs and very playful with them off leash but needs a home with a yard as he can be leash reactive.  He would be best in an active home with or without another dog and with older kids or no kids.

If you are looking for a playmate and a doggy who is motivated to learn and to please, Bowie is your man!
