My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gidget and Gemini! These adorable 6-month-old Belgian Malinois/Terrier mix sisters are still searching for their forever homes! They came to HART in August with their brothers, Gatsby and Gideon, who have already found loving families. Now, it's Gidget and Gemini's turn!

Belgian Malinois are known for their energy, loyalty, and intelligence—just like German Shepherds. These girls need an active home where they can thrive and burn off their energy. The kennel environment isn't ideal for them, and they’re starting to feel the stress of confinement.

Imagine spending your days behind a kennel door, feeling overwhelmed by unfamiliar sounds and smells. That’s what Gidget and Gemini are going through. Despite the love from our staff and volunteers, nothing beats the warmth and stability of a real home.

To help them out, the girls are now at K9 Solutions in Grantsville, MD for some expert training! With three weeks of training and socialization, these sweet girls will be even more ready to join a loving family, and they are currently available for adoption. Plus, Scott Holliday, from K9 Solutions, is offering three free training sessions to their adopters!

If you’re looking to add joy, love, and a whole lot of fun to your life, consider adopting Gidget or Gemini. They deserve a second chance!

Please Note:  You must live within a 175-mile radius of our facility to be considered for adoption.

All our dogs/puppies are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, Bordetella, and distemper/parvo, given flea medication, heartworm tested, and given a microchip before going to their new home.
