A Little Bit About Me

Lilli is a shy lady but has so much promise! She purrs, makes biscuits, falls on her side in enjoyment, and offers elevator rumps! She likes ear, cheek, and chin rubs in the comfort of her bed, or she may come out to socialize and visit. She needs time to warm up, but she is friendly, affectionate, and relaxed once comfortable. Lilli will need a quiet home and a gentle, patient guardian who knows how to bring the best out of bashful kitties. Take your time to woo her and she will return as much love to you as you give to her!

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
