Scout is a sweet and gentle puppy with a funny and playful side. He is a very affectionate and loyal dog who loves to be around his human friends. He enjoys going on walks and meeting new people. He is a smart and curious dog who loves to explore the world around him. Scout is a friendly puppy who is gentle with people and has been around kitten, cats and big dogs. He loves to play and run around, but he also enjoys curling up for a cozy nap and some gentle cuddles. Scout is an all-around great puppy who is excited to find a loving forever home where he can grow up and thrive. If you are looking for a funny, loyal, and loving companion, Scout is the one for you!

Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our adoption fee is $500 each plus health certificate and transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), fecal analysis, spay/neuter for dogs 6 months & older (if under 6 months, $100 of adoption fee is returned to adopter when proof of mandatory spay/neuter is provided to us at 6 months of age), and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.

After an applicant has been screened, we conduct a home visit, vet reference check and personal reference checks. If the applicant is approved, we schedule a meet and greet.

We arrange in-person meet and greets with our foster families once an applicant is approved as long as the dog is local and if not local, then the meet and greet will be done virtually.
