Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Arlo, the Charming Boy! This handsome Akbash/Kangal/Asian Shepherd mix is a true treasure, born on June 30, 2024. With his friendly and gentle nature, Arlo is the ideal companion for families, effortlessly getting along with kids, dogs, and even cats! He's ready to fill any home with joy and warmth.
Arlo's impressive lineage not only gives him a strong protective instinct but also a majestic presence that's hard to ignore. As he grows, he's expected to be a large and magnificent dog, destined to be a cherished member of the family.
This loyal boy will thrive in a home with another friendly dog and an owner experienced with larger breeds. With the right amount of training, socialization, and exercise, Arlo will develop into a devoted and loving companion.
His journey to a forever home will be completed after his spay/neuter surgery, scheduled when he's between 4-6 months old. His foster-to-adopt agreement includes all vaccinations, microchipping, and deworming, with upcoming vaccinations of DAPPV #2 and Bordetella #2 on September 21, followed by DAPPV #3 and Rabies (including a fecal test) on October 19.
To ensure Arlo's health and safety, applicants must adhere to the "No Paws on the Ground" (NPOG) protocol, meaning he'll need to stay indoors until fully vaccinated. Renters should provide proof of a pet policy with no size restrictions, as Arlo is expected to grow quite large. Don't miss the opportunity to welcome this charming boy into your life-apply today at www.snarllv.org and give Arlo the loving home he deserves!

More about this rescue
Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League (SNARL) exists to provide a better life for adoptable homeless, abandoned, or abused animals. We aim to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of these animals as well as educate the public against breed or size discrimination. There is no such thing as a “bad breed”, only bad humans. Our mission is to make sure all of the animals we rescue are placed in loving, safe, and viable fur-ever homes.
