My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Loona has blossomed in her temporary foster home! Loona is calm, loving, and has impeccable house manners. She is housetrained, loves to snuggle, and sleeps through the night. She listens well and is eager to please. A dog buddy with a similar energy level (low to medium) and a fenced yard would be ideal! Loona loves to take walks, tennis balls, rope toys, and kongs. She needs some work on a leash. No food or toy aggression. Loona has beautiful coloring and a short, carefree coat that won’t need grooming… but she might need a coat in the winter! Loona is 3 years old, 40 pounds, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. She desperately wants a person or family of her own and will be a loyal companion!
Help keep Loona out of boarding! If you can provide a calm, stable and loving environment, please consider Loona to be your new best friend! Loona is in southern Idaho. Transport is available within the Pacific Northwest to an approved foster or adopter. Please email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com, and ask for Loona.

Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
Adoption only within the northwest.
