My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ths lovely lady came into care after requiring emergency surgery for a foreign body. She is recovering nicely and is looking for her forever family. She is skittish and uncertain of new surroundings and takes some time to be comfortable. She loves to be near you and enjoys ear scratches and positive reinforcement....who doesn't like to be told they are a good girl?
She is good with smaller, quiet dogs and pays no attention to the cats in her foster home. She is great on leash and rides well in the car. She does need to be supervised outside as she gravitates back to eating items that are not appropriate and can be harmful to her. She has not exhibited this behaviour indoor, but may be something to be aware of in the future.
She knows some basic commands and would benefit from additional training and confidence building. She has had her spay surgery, is up to date on her vaccines, is heartworm negative, has been flea and tick treated, and is microchipped.
Her adoption fee is $500. You must be 21 years old to adopt and provide vet and personal references. An application to adopt her can be found on our website www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com. Click on Adopt, then Dogs for Adoption, and scroll to the bottom of the page.
All applications are reviewed, and if we feel you might be a good fit for her, you will be contacted to arrange a home visit as well as for permission to speak with your vet. Repeated phone calls and emails with not advance your application. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue and there is no opportunity to meet her before an application has been approved.
We thankyou for respecting these guidelines.
