My name is King!

King is about 2 years old, and this handsome guy weighs about 60 pounds. We recommend caution around small children while King is eating (he can be very quick to grab any food or treats he sees), and we think he may chase cats. King seems to be a very intelligent dog, and when he's focused on his handler without distractions, he walks nicely on leash and sits for treats. King must meet any resident dog(s) in a potential new home, to make sure they get along. Here at the shelter, King does best with other dogs when they are calm and allow him to approach gently.

* King has tested positive for Lyme disease, and is currently being treated with antibiotics
