My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here's what my shelter friends said about me: "Omgoodness this petite little bully headed spotted chest schmedium baby was one of my FAVORITES today! Howie is so cute and his name fits him perfectly! His kennel was covered but he was very calm and took treats gently through the bars. He's HW neg, a perfectly portable size at 45lbs and is calm for a young 2YO boy. He gave curious sniffs to multiple dogs down the row of kennels with some polite little tail wags too. A few dogs grumbled at him but he was calm and quiet and didn't react but he did claim their kennels as his own and lifted his leg! Howie! He met another dog outside with the same polite sniffs. He came over to me with happy tail wags when I offered treats but wasn't super excited about what I had to offer. He was quick to trust me and enjoyed lots of snuggles and pets in my lap! I love his little square head and googly eyes! He let me dress him up in silly hats club and also tolerated my sunglasses! How is a COOOOOL DUDE! Poor buddy didn't want to go back inside the stressful kennels of dogs and just stared at me with a "Do I have to? he did eventually walk inside back to his kennel. Narwall gave him a big bark and Howie had no reaction to him, Howie is PERFECT! I really hope he doesn't they looked over just because he's a black dog. Look at his googly eyes! He's so cute!!"

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter.
