Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rex (affectionately called TRex) is an 11-month-old Husky/German Sheperd mix. After an adorable video showing Rex's sweet demeanor and friendliness in the shelter went viral, So Cal dog lovers pleaded for a rescue to step in. One of our longtime fosters asked to pull and foster him when we learned he was on the euthanasia list.
As soon as he was busted out of the shelter, TRex let his full personality show. This guy is so cool! He is playful and loves to splash in the water. Rex loves to run around with the other dogs in his foster home and has a gentle play style. TRex is also nonreactive to the cats in the home, which is amazing for a young Husky/German Shepherd. He wants to be friends with dogs, cats and any humans he meets along the way.
Southpaw is looking for a home where TRex will thrive. Even though he's pretty mellow for his breed and never barks, he will need a more active home. Ending up in the shelter before your one-year birthday due to no fault of his own, we can't wait to help TRex find the home who will love him and allow him and give him the best life.
