Say Hello to Paulie! This big sweetheart is looking for his forever home! At 2 years young, Paulie has quite a bit of energy, this handsome guys loves his walks, playing fetch, and absolutley loves the pool!
Paulie needs a few minutes to warm up to new people, especially men, but a few treats and throwing of his cherished tennis balls, you will be Paulie's new bestie in no time!
Due to his strength, we are saying kids over 12.
Paulie take treats gently, knows all the basic commands, and then some, and is housebroken.
Paulie is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on his vaxes.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters over 21 years of age must first fill out an application for adoption. It takes at least 7-10 business days for application to be processed. Vet checks are done as well as references, and home checks.
Our Cat adoption fees are:
$215for Kittens (6wks-6Months)
$170 for Adults (7Months - 7yrs)
$95 for Senior/Special Needs

Our Dog adoption fees are:
$395 for Puppies (8wks-15Months)
$295 for Adults (16Months-10yrs)
$125 for Senior/Special Needs

We believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes.

We provide spay and neuter services and any and all necessary medical care for pets.

We work diligently to educate the public on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership, Disease control, as well as the Humane Treatment of Animals.

The Meriden Humane Society is a Private, No Kill, non Profit Animal Shelter and Rescue Facility.We are not affiliated with any other Humane Society or rescue organization. We do NOT receive any funding the state, but in fact are funded by the generous people who believe that "Life Matters".
