My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chuck, a mixed breed sweetheart who's ready to find a loving home. Chuck is a gentle soul who walks beautifully on a leash, is fully potty trained, and has a calm demeanor that makes him a joy to be around. While he's crate trained, Chuck prefers to spend as little time in a cage as possible, as the shelter environment tends to stress him out, causing him to bang on the bars of his cage. He would thrive in a home setting where he can relax and feel secure.

Chuck gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. When he first arrived at Helping Paws, his skin was in rough shape, with patches of missing fur due to poor living conditions. However, with care and attention, his fur is growing back, and his skin is looking much better. Chuck doesn't mind bath time, and the staff have seen a significant improvement in his overall health and well-being. Chuck is looking for a forever home where he can feel safe and loved, and where he can enjoy the comfort of a warm bed and the companionship of a loving family.
