Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you are the type of person (or family) who likes to do things and have a good time, this lil’ life-o-the-party is ready for anything and up for it all!
Love of life and all things in it can be contagious! Buck has no problem spreading it around. He has been described by our staff as: sweet, wild, innocent, playful, confident, silly, goofy, pushy, fun-loving and a party-boy. Did we forget anything? Yes! He is also super cute and just because he is a very reasonable size (only around 55 lbs,) that doesn’t mean he can’t jump 5 feet in the air and appear taller!
He LOVES to run! It is one of his favorite things. He also likes to explore the great big world he lives in and all the things in it! We think he might make an amazing outdoor adventure buddy, or running mate, or bike joring partner. He is still young, so things are fresh and new for him (which is fun!) He is very social and has done well with other dogs in play groups. He might make a lively sibling addition to a household with another dog. He is energetic and playful and high on life! He’s very adept at finding amusement, even with just himself. He would appreciate someone with a sense of humor (because he is also funny!)
He came to us from Modesto, where he was found as a stray, then recommended to us when they noticed his sweet temperament and high toy drive. He impressed the small plane pilot who transported him to our campus with his enjoyment of the journey. He easily weaseled his way into our hearts here, as he weaseled out of training for the work we do (it’s not his thing). Now it’s time for him to find his place (with you?)
If you appreciate a friend who is playful, fun-loving, attentive, alert, athletic, and open-minded, you will not be disappointed by adding this lil’ fella to your dance card.
