My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello friends! My name is Ta-Mitt but my foster family calls me Tillie! If you are looking for perfection, look no further! I am the perfect mix of curious, snuggly and playful. I am the most loving girl! I am quite the social butterfly! I really love it when my foster family starts to pet me. My foster mom says that it looks like I am smiling at her when I get into my pets. She calls me her little silly Tillie (what a goofy lady). She also calls me her little purring princess! I purr SO loud my whole body vibrates! I love to plop down in your lap for a snooze. My preferred position is to fall asleep in your arms on my back like a baby. I am a total love bug. I am a super snuggly girl! I love exploring new toys and tunnels. Cat trees are so fun to jump on! I use my scratching posts like an absolute champ and I love chasing little balls around.

Did you know I have a brother! His name is Pa-Mitt AKA Peter. He is the best! We have so much fun together. We play and snuggle all day! We come up with the best games. He never annoys me which my foster mom says is unusual and she would like me and Peter to teach her human kids how to do that.

We also live with two big cats and a goofy, big dog. One of these big cats used to be a Bitty Kitty himself so he really likes to hang around us. My foster mom claims that he is just trying to steal our kitten food but I think he just thinks we are awesome. I like to sneak behind him and chase his tail. He doesn't seem to mind! We live with a goofy, big doggy too. Turns out he works for the neighborhood watch and likes to bark at people and certain dogs that walk by the house. We aren't phased at all by his barking. It's background noise at this point!

We also live with some great kids that love us just as much as our sometimes smothering foster mom. Gosh that lady gives lots of kisses. They play with us all the time and we think they are super cool.

My foster family is always singing my praises. Not only do I have perfect litter box manners, I am sweet as can be, outgoing, snuggly, love everyone I meet, and have an overall delightful personality. Not to toot my own horn, but... I sound kind of awesome, don't I? Come, meet me and see for yourself!

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
