Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This vocal guy is a doll who loves pets and just being around people. Lester has even been known to jump onto a lap or two. We get the impression that Lester will not be the type who will be ok left alone all day and would probably enjoy living with multiple people who have a hybrid work scedule. Based on observations from his short stay in a home, Lester is extremely food oriented. It would be great if he had a new person who could work with him on his constant search for food through clicker training, food puzzles and slow feeders (see his video). Lester would strongly benefit from a regular feeding schedule so he can learn to understand that he doesn`t have to constantly relive his time on the streets searching for his next meal. Also based on his food orientation, Lester should probably be the only pet in his new home since sharing is not his super power! If you have an active home or are home a lot and are interested in meeting Lester, please come to the Boston location and speak with an adoption specialist.
Lester is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team.
For more information on Lester or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Also, be sure to check out our:
