My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gentle, Sweet, Observant

Introducing Maple!

This stripedy girl is a little on the shy side and cautious in new surroundings (understandably), but when she opens up to you, she reveals what a sweetheart she is. Once she is comfortable, she is very affectionate and loves to snuggle and nuzzle people for pets. When she wants attention, Maple will rub her face all over you and everything around her. While you pet her, she gets so giddy and excited that she drools like a dog! While she is not a lap cat, she likes to be nearby and comes up to her people when she's ready for affection. Plus, this lady cat has the daintiest little meow when she wants attention and affection!

Maple has interacted with older kids (10+) who give her pets and attention. With this in mind, we believe that if she were to go to a home with kids, she would do best with older children who understand cat boundaries (as she does need some space at times, like most kitties).

While she is not a super cuddly lap cat, Maple is so sweet when she warms up to people, so having patient people who help her feel comfortable would help her blossom in her new home. Maple would also love a window to view out of as she loves people watching!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
