Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Ciera Rose is a beautiful, sleek house panther who at the age of 11 found herself back at Animal Friends Alliance after her adopter passed away. Ciera Rose is a sensitive sweetheart who stole everyone's hearts at the shelter, but she was really stressed there. She is now in a foster home while awaiting another loving, adoptive home.
Although Ciera Rose can initially be shy around new people, once she is comfortable, she is a TOTAL LOVE BUG. She absolutely loves being petted and gives the occasional head butt. She is a mellow cat who still occasionally plays with toys. Ciera led a pretty sheltered life in her prior home where she wasn't exposed to much, and like a lot of senior cats, she doesn't embrace change. She is looking for an adopter who will help get her cat mojo back (with the guidance and insight of her foster parents).
Although she is terrified of ceiling fans, Ciera doesn't seem fazed by the barking of the crazy dogs in her foster home. She may do well in a home with a mellow, cat-friendly dog after slow, appropriate introductions. We aren't sure yet if she wants to share her home with another cat, but her foster parents are working on that. Ciera has a manageable level of chronic renal disease (a common old cat disease) and will need continued veterinary care. She has impeccable litter box habits.
If you would like to give this girl a loving home for her golden years and you'd like to be adored and get the occasional head butt thank you, please ask about Ciera Rose today!
