My name is Chico!

Chico is a lover & we love him. We rescued Chico from the pound to be our 2 yo dog's companion in March of 2023. We discovered that Chico would rather be an "only-dog" & after 2 years, it hasn't gotten much better. At the time, he was heartworm +, 4 yrs old (6 yo now). He received heartworm treatment and we are so excited to say that Chico is heartworm FREE! We have extensive veterinary records to share with whomever would love to be his furever home, he is up-to-date on shots and heartworm pills.
Chico LOVES attention and loves to go for car rides. He walks great on a leash. He will get growly at others on a walk, but with more training, he would do great. We suggest kids be 8 years or older, (we have a 6&8 yo). He loves to walk, play fetch, play with toys, and chew no-hide bones. Chico needs to be the only dog in the household, he is ok with cats. His perfect parents would let him snuggle on the couch. He would love to sleep with you or close to you! He is truly a love bug.
