My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

She’s alllll the things you’d wish for in a new pup (and then some!).  Fern, an approx 6-month-old, 24 lb crate and potty trained Husky/Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix (as per her sister’s DNA), receives 100% rave reviews from her foster mommy.  She’s so friendly, cuddly, and happy, covers her people with PDA,  is great with kids, loooooves all other dogs, rides nicely in the car, is whip smart, has a ball during playtime, and never turns down a cozy nap when she's pooped.  We don't know about cats. She's still young and needs a home where someone is around more often than not during the day. Fern is microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed, and her adoption fee is $700.

More about this rescue

Ollie's Angels Animal Rescue is a rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of abused and neglected dogs across the country. Ollie's Angels does not determine whether a life is worth saving based on age, special needs, or physical condition. In our eyes, every animal deserves a second chance at life.

We believe that every dog, as well as every adopter, has a unique tale to tell. Our mission is to consider both the needs of our animals and their humans to find the best possible match for each life we save. Adopting a dog is a very emotional experience, and we are committed to treating all of our adopters with respect and kindness throughout the adoption process.

Our special foster program gives us the chance to get to know each dog on a personal level. This helps us to select the perfect home for each individual dog based on his/her needs and personality. Each and every animal we save is adopted into a safe and loving forever home where he/she will be a cherished member of the family. Prior to being placed in a new home, all of our animals receive the highest quality medical care, as well as being spayed/neutered, microchipped, and updated on vaccinations.
