My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Henry. I'm a handsome fella and I have pointy ears, ready to listen to you. I came to High Country Humane because my owner couldn't care for me anymore. Regardless of where I came from, I'm just focused on finding my furever home. Is it with you?

Maybe I should tell you a bit about myself first! I'm as charming as I am brilliant. And one of my favorite things to do is spending time outside, I love hikes! I'm a working breed which means I would thrive with a yard to run around. I'm fully potty-trained! I would do best in a home with a low energy dog to keep me company, I don't really want to play much anymore. I do love female dogs! Do I sound like your new best friend? I hope so! Come by High Country Humane to meet me! I can't wait to see you!

Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
