Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jamba! Jamba is a 3 year old male Cane Corso (mix?) who currently weighs 96 lbs. He had a rough history, but is a very forgiving, loving dog and now awaits his forever home. Jamba would likely do best with another female dog, or being the only dog in the home. He cannot be in a home with small animals or cats. Jamba is seemingly housetrained here, and generally keeps his kennel clean. He is a very sweet and playful boy. He would love a home with breed experience, and/or someone who can manage his large size because he is STRONG! He may be too much dog for small children but it would depend on the children's age and level of dog experience. His adoption fee is $75 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccinations and negative heartworm test. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov or stop by during our open hours to meet him.

Kendall County Animal Control is the county agency responsible for enforcement of the state statutes governing rabies control in domestic companion animals. The State of Illinois requires that all dogs are vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. Compliance with this law is monitored through the issuance of rabies tags for all dogs residing in the county. All dogs are required to wear their rabies tags when off of the owner's property. If a pet is lost, rabies tags also provide an excellent means of identifying your pet.
Kendall County Animal Control also enforces the county's ordinance that prohibits dogs from running at large in unincorporated residential subdivisions, investigates reports of animal bites, and will pick up contained stray dogs in unincorporated Kendall County during operating hours. Stray and owner released cats and dogs may also be brought to the facility during business hours. Cats and dogs are available for adoption at the facility.
