My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Zoe! I'm just a kitten, but I'm filled with boundless energy and curiosity. I love to explore every nook and cranny, and I'm brave enough to venture into the unknown. I'm also quite playful. I can turn anything into a toy - a piece of string, a crumpled piece of paper, even my own tail! But don't worry, I'm also very friendly. I love to curl up and purr in the laps of my human friends. I'm not just a pet, I'm a companion, a playmate, and a source of endless amusement. If you're looking for a little bundle of joy to brighten up your life, look no further. Adopt me, and let's embark on this journey of life together!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
