My name is Max!

Hi, my name is Max! I am approximately 8 years young, a goofball at heart, and full of energy. I am a family dog that loves being around any human who likes to give head and belly scratches. I am best suited for a house with a yard because I love to spend my energy outside and then lounge in the shade.

I walk well on a leash and prefer to go to the bathroom in my own yard (walks are for walking, that is my motto!). I will fit well with an active family and have no issues exploring by your side! I am also great with young kids and babies. I do have separation anxiety but I feel better with a companion, especially smaller female dogs to keep me company and nap together while my family is away.

I am a very loyal pup that follows commands (sit, stay, wait, aught, off, up, down, come, here, place). I am a food motivated learner and I pick up most things quickly.

Bottom line, I love to love and I am looking for a structured home where I can be my goofy self with a companion or family!
