Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This handsome dude is the proud papa of the Catahoula puppies. He's a purebred 2-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog who's sweet, friendly, playful, and independent.
Rooster was born in Texas and raised as a working dog. He's had limited exposure to other dogs but gets along great with the two female dogs he grew up with.
He's now left his ranch life behind and is learning about living in the suburbs. He's started working with a positive reinforcement trainer to help him learn how to walk on a leash, and he's doing great with his training!
Rooster loves kids, but his 75 lb. size may overwhelm younger children. He would do great with someone who is active and wants to show him the best part of living in Colorado. He's neutered and up to date on his veterinary care.
There is a rehoming fee.
For more info and/or to apply to adopt Rooster, please email catahoulapuppies9@gmail.com with a description of your home and what life would be like for Rooster. Thanks.

Additional adoption info
First you must fill out an application which we will review. Then we will do a phone interview, reference check and finally a home visit before a dog is placed in your home. We ONLY adopt to homes where the dog is an indoor dog, part of the family and treated as such. We stress excellent nutrition, proper training and follow up with all our adopters.
We are probably have one of the more thorough and difficult adoption processes... and we love that people want to adopt and don't want to discourage adopters! So please, if you're in a hurry, or not an exceptional furever home - please try other rescues or a SHELTER is a great option too!
