My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOR ADOPTION: CALLISTA is an absolutely stunning 16 month old female looking for a fun forever home. This beautiful girl came into our care with her large family group consisting of three litters from two mommas, all suspected to have the same dad. Unfortunately a few of her siblings and half siblings became quite sick with a non-contagious genetic disease and we lost them. After consulting with experts in this disease from all over Canada we made a plan for how to handle the siblings who may or may not have carried the same genetic markers. We’ve now reached the point where we can confidently say that these remaining siblings are healthy and able to head into their forever homes. We will happily further discuss this genetic disease that effected some of the siblings with any successful applicants. Callista is a fun, vibrant young cat that enjoys playing, exploring and getting all the pets. She gets along well with the other cats at the shelter and could living in a multi cat household. She is just as happy to hang out with respectful children as she is with adults and she is open to the idea of sharing a home with a calm and friendly dog. Callista is a communicative girl that is not afraid to ask for attention or snacks but she doesn’t chat without reason. She is used to having to compete with her siblings for one on one attention for the people around her, she is so looking forward to a home with more than Enough affection to go around. Callista seems to be a fairly low key girl that is more interested in watching her brothers play than joining in. She’s had minimal interactions with dogs but at this point she could learn to live with a calm and friendly canine. She is looking for an indoor only home with a great window or catio for her to watch the world go by while her family is busy. Callista is spayed, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you’ve been looking for fun young cat apply today at www.NWAS.ca for a chance to meet CALLISTA #NWASCallista #NWASCuddlesandLucyCrew
