Hello, I'm Zeus, your friendly neighborhood cat! I've got a heart as big as my namesake, and a personality to match. I'm the curious type, always sniffing out a new adventure, but don't worry, I know when it's time to mellow out and cuddle up. I'm a smart fellow, quick to learn new tricks, and brave enough to face any new challenge. But what I love most is being around people. I'm independent but sweet, always ready for a gentle pet or a friendly chat. I'm not just a cat, I'm a companion. Why should you adopt me? It's easy to adopt. Fill out an adoption application and contract. All adoptions include spay or neuter, vaccinations, de-worm, and rabies. All dogs receive obedience training during their stay here at the shelter and most go to their new homes already trained.

The Humane Society of NCA is a non-profit, 501C3 organization staffed by employees and volunteers. We house approximately 50 dogs and 50 cats. We have been the only Humane Society in Baxter County for 40 years. Our Humane Society receives no government funding and is supported by donations from our members and members of the community.
