Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beagle Mix is not your average Beagle mix. Champ, formally known as D.J. was born at HSAC and after spending almost 6months at the shelter he was finally adopted. Champ is an obedience training class graduate and is house broken. Champ also has experience living off grid, so he is open to new adventures. This boy looks like a Rottweiler but has the soul and spirit of a Golden Retriever. We know, sounds crazy right?! But he is one smart dog who has manners out of this world. He loves to go on car rides, head hanging out the window the entire time. He was his dad's best friend until that decision for Champs safety was made. Champ gets along great with other dogs, cats, and children. He is the best dog ever and we hope he gets another opportunity to show someone what he is capable of. He won’t disappoint. If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
