This handsome pup is Chowder. He is a “retired” breeder dog. He’s a 6 year young Wheaten Terrier. Chowder had to have his beautiful silken coat shaved due to it being very matted, it will grow back. Chowder is in need of a family that has plenty of time, love and patience as he spent the last 6 years of his life in a puppy mill. He is shy and reserved at first but quickly responds to quite speaking and a gentle touch. He gets along great with other dogs and feels secure in his crate. He looks forward to his morning walk and does great on leash. Chowder loves to run so a fenced yard would be a huge plus. He keeps his crate clean and has only had 1 accident in the house. In time Chowder will be a loving companion. Chowder is neutered, vetted, microchipped, fully vaccinated and ready to start a new life.
