My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zack! This handsome one-year-old weighs in at a solid 84 lbs and is the perfect mix of laid-back and lively. While Zack might come across as a relaxed fellow, he has his moments of playful energy that will keep you entertained. Though he hasn't shown much interest in toys yet, with a bit of encouragement and the right interaction, he might just become a toy enthusiast. Zack is a smart boy who already knows how to sit, especially when there are treats involved—he's quite the treat-motivated learner! If you're a fan of big dogs, or even if you're still on the fence, Zack is sure to win you over with his charming personality and endearing presence. He's incredibly personable and has a character that's hard to resist. Come meet Zack, and you might just find your new best friend!

Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

More about this shelter

Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
