My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Ben to CCPAL Foster Program. Ben is a 2-year old 17 pound Maltese mixed dog. He does get along with the dogs in his foster care but his foster mom says he would prefer to be the only dog so he gets all the attention. He has really nice teeth that are clean and he will not need a dental any time soon. He was living as an outside dog for most of his life. The family decided he would be best in a home where he could be a part of the family and allowed to be in the house. He is not a big shedding dog and will need grooming to keep the beautiful white coat. His coat is soft. He is decent on leash and is learning to go potty on a wee pad. He is learning the crate from his foster mom. He has the beautiful and unusual brown nose and brown eyes. He would be a great fit for an older couple or an older single person with a more quiet home. He would be a great companion for someone wanting a companion for your house that is really pretty self reliant. He hasn’t been lots of places outside the home but he is learning it with his foster mom. She is taking great care of him until we find him his forever home. His home would be best with older children like 10 or older. He is definitely getting handled a lot in his foster home and getting on a schedule. He also lives fully indoors with short breaks outside for going potty. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
