Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rae!
A spirited eight-year-old Labrador Retriever from Peachtree Corners, GA, whose zest for life is as boundless as her chocolate-brown coat is beautiful. This loving girl is the epitome of a loyal companion, ready to fill your days with joy, energy, and endless adventures. Rae is the ultimate fetch enthusiast—if you’re looking for a pup who can chase a ball until the sun sets, you’ve found her! Her love for swimming is equally impressive, making her the perfect partner for any water-based fun.
Rae isn’t just about play, though. She’s a well-mannered and intelligent girl, with an impressive repertoire of commands under her belt. From “sit” and “stay” to “shake” and even “play dead,” Rae is a great listener who knows how to follow instructions. She’s leash trained and house-trained, making her an easy addition to any home. Although she may beg a little at first, a gentle reminder is all she needs to settle down and show off her impeccable manners.
While Rae’s energy is boundless, she also has a softer side that craves love and attention. She’s a big fan of cuddles and will happily curl up next to you after a day of fun. Rae does experience some anxiety, particularly when meeting new people or during car rides, but this is just her excitement shining through. With a bit of patience and understanding, Rae’s occasional jitters are easily managed, especially with her current anti-anxiety medication.
This affectionate girl is fantastic with other dogs, cats, and even young children, making her a wonderful addition to any family! Rae’s adaptable nature means she fits well into various routines, but she does thrive with plenty of exercise to channel her energy.
Rae is looking for a new loving home where she can continue to be the joyful, active, and loving companion she’s always been. Could you be the one to share life’s adventures with her? If Rae sounds like the perfect match for you, reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com and start your journey together today!
