Meet Aster, a young, vibrant house panther with an infectious energy that fills the room.
His playful antics are sure to keep you entertained. He's a mischievous one, always ready for a game of chase or a quick pounce on a toy mouse. Yet, when the games are over, Aster transforms into the perfect lap cat, offering sniff inspections of everything near you.
Despite his energetic nature, Aster also has a laid-back side, perfectly happy to just sit and watch the world go by. His combination of energy and tranquility makes him a wonderfully balanced companion.
Aster is a social guy, he loves playing with his brother Rue. He also likes to follow his foster brother around. He would be happiest in a home with another cat friend.
Adopt Aster and you'll gain a friend who'll share in your joys, comfort you in quiet moments, and bring a unique spark of life into your home.
Aster is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here or email adopt@ahsem.org
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
