You know that kid in school that always has a smile on their face, the class clown, happy go lucky, up for anything, well that is this guy. Sparty is a solid built boy that doesn’t realize that sometime size does matter… He enjoys going on walks (he can be a strong walker), takes treats nicely and vaccinated. If you feel Sparty would make a great family addition or have any questions, please contact the shelter at 937-498-7201. Lobby hours are Monday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-12. Kennel hours are Monday-Friday 12-4 with Saturday by appointment.

The Shelby County Animal Shelter is a County office designed to serve the residents of Shelby County. They answer calls for stray dogs, complaints of dogs running at large, animal kills by dogs and coyotes, pick up stray dogs, answer humane complaints and reports of loose dogs.

The SCAS is open to people looking for a pet, looking for a missing pet, and those who just want to look at the animals. They accept dogs and cats from owners as well as strays, however a fee may be involved. They offer dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption.
