My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smudge is love. He loves to be loved. He will tell you he likes to be loved. And should you not hear him or believe him, he will tell you again how much he would like to be loved NOW! And that’s all it takes to make him happy, and quiet, is to reach down and pet him or put him in your lap and he is content. He is the talker of his sibling group. He is also delightfully playful both with toys and especially with any of his brothers which includes Big Guy ,   Chief, and Spot

Smudge will need another feline friend in his new home. Or, Smudge and his brother, Big Guy, are a nicely bonded pair. They'd be great together.

Smudge is a very social kitty including with people he just met. He would do fine with kids 7 years of age and over and may do fine with a calm cat-friendly dog with the proper and controlled introduction. Smudge's estimated birth date is May 14, 2024. Kitty Bio #1815CT-Sm.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The goal of our adoption process is to place the right cat(s) with the right person. These are the steps:

  1. Pick out a cat or think about the qualities you want in a cat.

  2. Complete our adoption questionnaire.

  3. Meet the cat over a video call with the foster parent or in person to see if the cat is a good fit for your household.

  4. Meet with an adoption counselor over a video call for a virtual home visit to go over a safety checklist.

  5. We will bring the cat to your home to complete the adoption.
